
Concert by Icelandic school choirs at the Kakitsubata hall

At the beginning of the concert, once children surrounded audience seats and sang songs about fabulous nature a cappella, audiences were enraptured by the magical atmosphere.

All 550 students of the Kársness School are said to belong to one of the five chorus groups. The school has been very active and won various European contests several times.

Quartet by four boys: The advanced technique of Iceland traditional chorus was appealing. They also sang Japanese songs such as “Natsu-no-Omoide,” “Aizubandaisan,” and “Kikorikobushi” on the stage. It must have been difficult for them to sing in Japanese, but they sang with beautiful voices.
