Any trouble with water service

Several citizens have made reports such as, “I was told there was a city order requiring that I install a water filter,” or “Somebody came to my house to check my water pipes.” However, such incidents are completely unrelated to the Chiryu municipal government. Usually, a city worker will visit only once every 8 years to replace a meter (as determined by the Measurement Law and other enforcement orders) (work will be conducted by an operator commissioned by the city).

Please note that meter replacements involve only the replacing of your meter and a cleanup around the meter (please note that trees, weeds, and other obstructions the prevent meter inspection and/or replacement may be cut down, moved, and thrown away) and that there is no charge.
