The light vehicle tax is the one (yearly) that owners of motorized bicycles, light passenger vehicles, and small-sized special motor vehicles must pay on April 1 (base date for assessment) every year. Therefore, there is neither a monthly taxation resulting from the registration nor a tax refund resulting from the deregistration of the vehicle in the middle of the year.
