Dear Foreign resident, How is your life in Chiryu?

Some of you may be experiencing difficulties in your everyday lives due to differences in language and customs.
This guidebook has been produced to help solve such problems in your everyday life. We hope you will keep it handy as a reference.
As you can see in the table of contents, there are roughly 9 sections.
An emergency guide is printed on the back cover page so that you can find it immediately.
If you don’t find what you need in this book, you can visit the relevant section at the city office.

They will explain using leaflets written in your language. When an interpreter in your language from the Foreign Residents Advisory Counter is available, she/he will take you to the section concerned and help you with the procedures.
We aim to develop a sense of community in which foreign residents are made welcome and are able to live with us in a pleasant and enjoyable environment. We hope this guidebook will help in achieving this purpose.
